SharkBite 2 Shark Tier List

Every shark in SharkBite 2 uses the same binds. The species changes health, swim speed, boost speed, and how easy you are to shoot. This list ranks shop species for public wipes. Event skins that clone Great White stats are notes, not a second meta. Numbers live on the shark catalog. Play patterns live on how to play as the shark.

S tier

Shortfin Mako (4,500, 1,000 HP, 137.5 swim / 206 boost) — the knife. You will die if you face-tank a warship. You will also delete jet skis that laugh at Meg. If you already understand boost discipline, Mako is the highest skill ceiling in the shop.

Great Hammerhead (1,500, 1,440 HP, 126.5 / 189.75) — the honest S for most accounts. Cheap enough that the Teeth guide can fund it in a sitting, tanky enough to learn rams, small enough that Blasters do not treat you like a billboard.

A tier

Megalodon (20,000, 2,900 HP, 135.3 / 230) — highest health and a terrifying boost number. Also the size of a bus. Good lobbies melt Meg. Bad lobbies surrender. Rank is A because the price and hitbox demand a player who already won as Hammerhead. Mosasaurus (20,000, 2,500 HP, 138.6 / 207.9) — same tax bracket, slightly less HP, still a raid boss. Killer Whale Orca (8,000, 2,100 HP) — the mid-boss that does not bankrupt you.

B tier

Goblin (3,250, 1,800 HP) and Skele (2,000, 1,650 HP) — extra meat without Meg’s drama. Fine if they are on sale in your head. Bull Shark (500, 1,100 HP, small) — best first upgrade from free. B because you will outgrow it, not because it is bad.

C tier

Great White (free, 1,200 HP) — tutorial body. Perfectly usable if you play like Mako and not like a wrecking ball. Staying on White while you fund guns is smarter than starving for Meg. Event clones (Bunny, Chocolate, Christmas, Anniversary, Nimona) are C cosmetics with White-like stats. Buy them for the closet, not the ladder.

D tier

There is no true “do not buy” shop shark except buying Meg as your first paid species. That is a D-tier decision, not a D-tier model. Skins (RGB, Golden) are D for power and S for flex.

Powers change the tier

A Great White with Radar and Armour can out-perform a naked Meg that boosts into mines. Spend on powers in the order from the shark playbook: Radar before Clone, Armour before Shout. Black Hole is a win-more toy for players who already wipe.

How this interacts with boats

Mako wants the boat list’s S-tier prey — you catch them. Meg wants D-tier prey — you flatten them. If your lobby is all Wildfires, Meg feels like C. If your lobby is Titanics, Meg feels like S. Rank your server, not just the shop tile.
